The first time I met Rachel and Jon was at their engagement shoot. I honestly must have done something right to be so blessed to work with such awesome people. Jon and Rachel are fun, kind, easy-going, and absolutely perfect for each other. We met at Grand Vue Park for the first few shots. Grand Vue Park is also the home of Rachel's brother, Patrick Fisher's, BBQ restaurant Mason Dixon BBQ (if you haven't tried it - GO NOW). After Grand Vue we shot in downtown Wheeling and Stifel Fine Arts Center. There were a few times I teared up behind the camera during this shoot- which is fairly normal for me at a wedding, but not so much on an engagement shoot. Jon was telling me about living in Louisville and he said "we're best friends, we're each other's family down there." I just thought that was the sweetest thing to say and from what I know from spending time with these two, they are each in good hands! This shoot was packed full of natural laughter, hugs, dancing, kisses, hand holding, and even an appearance by their sweet pup Peaches (AKA Peachy, Peach, Peachy Pie). Here are a few of my favorites.... This next series of photos was the other time I teared up... I said "hold pinkies like a pinky promise to each other." In between shots I saw Jon whisper "I love you" to Rachel. I think he said something else but I'm not certain because my eyes were full of water. Thank you Jon and Rachel for choosing me as your photographer. Thank you to Mr. & Mrs. Fisher and Peaches. I can't wait to shoot the Fisher/Redd Wedding July 2017.
Lots of Love, Kristin

I absolutely love these pictures. My favorite is the two of them with their hands together, and peaches paw on top! I love Jon and Rachel. These pictures capture the love between these two. I love these two like they are my family. I can't wait for the wedding
