It is so hard to believe Miss Josie is turning 3! The first time I took her photo it was of her mama's belly. This little girl is a true sweetheart. She is talkative, caring, fun, and adventurous. There is absolutely never a dull moment in her presence. On our shoot this time we played with sticks, saw doggies (which always makes her smile), chased and stepped on each other's shadows, and adventured to spots off the beaten path. Her smile is contagious and her stories are even better. The Stuckeys have been my clients pretty much since I started my photography business and I love their family and value them so much. They have a new addition coming this year and I can't wait for another Stuckey face to photograph! Here are a few of my favorites... Thank you Chris, Lisa, and Josie for being such loyal clients and allowing me to watch your family grow and capture your memories!

When Andie contacted me about shooting her maternity session she said "I just hope I don't have her before the shoot. Can we schedule this week?" I am so grateful she chose me. I shot Andie and Aaron's wedding last year and I just love their sweet little family. Honestly, if you ever see sweet Azalea shake her head and say "no" in the tiniest voice ever- you will melt. Today, as I was choosing which photos to add to this blog from their shoot, I found out little Dahlia was born! In celebration of her birthday, here are some of my favorites... Thank you Andie, Aaron, Azalea, and brand new baby Dahlia for the honor of taking your photos. I am so happy she is here and you are all healthy and happy! April birthdays are the best!
Lots of Love, Kristin One of my favorite things about loyal, repeat clients is that I get to watch their children grow through my lens. I had the pleasure of photographing beautiful Ainsley for the first time when she was barely able to sit up on her own. When Tori got in touch with me about scheduling her one year shoot, I was super excited! One year photo shoots are among the most difficult, in my opinion, because they are MOBILE! Ainsley was definitely on the move, but we caught up with her :) This spring has been particularly frustrating because the leaves on trees and flowers are taking their good old time blooming, so we improvised! Here are a few of my favorites from our shoot... Candid shots are my favorites! Chuck Taylors! "O" "N" "E" Spells "ONE!" As if this shoot could have gotten any sweeter, Donnie and Tori took me to their special spot at Oglebay. Donnie proposed to Tori here and carved their initials in the tree. Now, years later, they have a perfect mixture of the two of them in Ainsley. All because two people fell in love :) Thank you Donnie, Tori, and Ainsley for being such great clients. I am excited for your new addition to your beautiful family- another Gilbert face to photograph!
