On a sunny day, I met Gina, Mike, Mya and Miles at Grand Vue Park. We went to a few of my favorite spots and chatted along the way. Mya and Miles are definitely full of personality and imagination. Miles sings "Cheeeeeeeeese" and he sang it basically the whole time I was shooting and he was smiling- we all joined in on the singing throughout the shoot. Mya Jean was coming up with some of her own ideas for photos and then she would say "ok let me see" and come over to check out the back of my camera. ...and then she'd giggle. They all brought me smiles on a day of the year that is tough, and I hope I did the same for them. Here are a few of my favorites... Thank you, Mike and Gina, for choosing me to take your fall family photos. Love you all!

Oh, the Polings. I can't express enough how much I love shooting with this family. And this year they have a new addition, Ms. Dahlia. It all started when I shot their wedding, which seems like it was a lot longer ago than it actually was, and I have been photographing them ever since. Now they have two beautiful girls, Azalea and Dahlia, and a new house! Andie had posted a photo of her new backyard and mentioned shooting there- and I said HECK YES! It is just beautiful! Watching Andie and Aaron with their sweet babies just melts my heart. Here are a few of my favorites... I am very thankful and blessed to have you as clients and friends. Happy fall!
Lots of Love, Kristin We finally had a nice day! I think Ashley and I rescheduled their family mini twice due to weather. When I got out of my car to greet them at Grand Vue I said "No Rain, can you believe it?!" It felt like we would maybe never get to shoot these. Third time is a charm! Dalton seems to be a little boy who loves the outdoors just like his dad. He has the sweetest little smile. I loved getting to catch up with Chad and Ashley and hang out with their little man. I remember driving off of the hill from Grand Vue smiling and thinking "that was almost too easy." Here are a few of my favorites.... Thank you Chad, Ashley, and Dalton for choosing me for your family photos. I am so happy to have you as clients and friends.
Lots of Love, Kristin I trust Allana with my hair and she trusts me with her photos! We met a few years ago through a mutual friend and have been friends ever since. When she first started dating Vito she brought him to a party and I chatted with him for a while. I really liked him and he said "Do you know Bryan Berger?" I giggled and said "yes! he's my boyfriend...he's up there getting ready to go down the giant makeshift waterside." It is funny what a small world we live in. Allana is already an excellent mother to Quintin, and now she and Vito are expecting. We decided to shoot their engagement photos at Ebbert's Pumpkin Patch. It is a beautiful place, but we had to get creative to avoid the wooden cartoon scarecrows, people shopping, and the highway. It was a quick, fun little shoot - these two could make anything look sleek and stylish! Here are a few of my favorites... Lots of Love,
Kristin My dear friends, Chelsea, Evan, and Clay, are the most adorable little family. The list of things I love about these people is so long and I am so blessed to have them so closely in my life. We met at Grand Vue Park to shoot some fall family photos and I took them to some of my favorite spots. We didn't know it at the time, but little clay was getting sick this day and still hung in there like the little rock star that he is. I thank God every day that He put these people in my life. I love you, friends. Here are a few of my favorites.... I love you all so much!
Lots of Love, Kristin It all started when Ingrid won a photo session I donated to a special organization. It was a mother/son dance- her son Noah wanted to give his photo shoot to his sister Alexa. We shot those photos earlier this season and I just loved Ingrid and Alexa. When Ingrid contacted me about taking sibling photos of Alexa and Noah, of course I said HECK YES! These two little ones are so polite and full of spunk. They had me laughing throughout this whole shoot - and they had some really good ideas all on their own. Some of their "poses" were just moments I said "have a seat/stand right there" and they did the cutest things just naturally. I loved my day with these two: we strolled around Oglebay and chatted while stopping at places we thought would be a cool photo. It was really tough for me to choose but, Here are a few of my favorites.... I am so happy to have you as clients!
Lots of Love, Kristin It was so difficult for me to not name this Foose Fall mini. Only because that is what we called Amanda when she and I went to Bethany College together (shhh 10 years ago). Since our old glory days, Amanda and Ryan have gotten married and have started their beautiful family of 5. THREE BOYS!! We met at Oglebay Park for their fall mini sessions and as soon as I saw her all the memories came flooding back. Amanda and Ryan are still the great people I remember, but have since added parents to their list of achievements. These boys are most definitely made of snips and snails and puppy dog tails; ornery and energetic but polite and as cute as Christmas. We kept joking that Amanda and Ryan are outnumbered, I had a sweet little 30 minute glimpse into their lives and I loved that opportunity. Here are a few of my favorites... Thank you, Finleys for choosing me! Happy Fall!
