I absolutely LOVE Lifestyle sessions. I love the perfect imperfections of every day life, natural light, and natural settings. We shot in bedrooms, the living room, and in their back yard. Tori and Donnie are truly great people and great parents. When I get a call or text about doing a session with them, I'm just as excited to get to chat and catch up with them as I am to take their photos. Thank you, Donnie and Tori, for inviting me to take photos in your home. Here are a few of my favorites... Lots of Love,
Kristin

Let me start by saying... WOAH. The location of this wedding was amazing. Megan and Corey's wedding day was full of happiness, beauty, love, and weather surprises. Megan was definitely an ideal bride; cool, calm, collected, fun, and flawless. I don't think the smile left Corey's face all day! The happiness these two radiate is contagious and such an extreme honor to capture in photos. The most difficult thing for me was deciding which photos to share- there are SO MANY. Please excuse the lack of candid reception shots- I'm already sharing so many photos, I thought I'd leave some surprises for Corey and Megan. Here are a few of my favorites.... A first look with her dad.... Although they didn't want to see each other before, they wanted to hold hands for a bit... Corey and Megan, Thank you so much for choosing me to shoot your wedding. You two are great people and I adore you both!
Lots of Love, Kristin While strolling through Hobby Lobby last year with my mom, I saw a little wooden sign that said "If you think my hands are full... you should see my heart." Of course it had to be mine. That little sign has been multiple places in my house and I smile every time I look at it. Yesterday I caught myself staring into space (but actually at the sign) and it just rang so true with me at the present moment. I have LOTS of photos that I am editing at this point. I have just finished a few family shoots and two weddings (one is delivered, one will be delivered when the zip drive gets comes in the mail), I am currently editing 2 more weddings (and shooting another this Friday), 2 family sessions, a senior session, and I just shot a lifestyle session last night. I have a few weddings left to shoot this year and Fall Mini Sessions and Christmas photos are just around the corner. I have a lot going on. My hands are full. BUT my HEART is soooo incredibly full. I WOULD NOT WANT IT ANY OTHER WAY. I am so happy and thankful that I am doing what I love and have clients that hire me to capture their memories. With both my hands and heart full it means that my dream is still my reality, and I thank God every day for that. Cheers to FULL HANDS and FULL HEARTS. Here are a few photos of what I am working on..... Thank you to my clients- You make my heart full every day.
Lots of Love, Kristin High school sweethearts, Tim and Carrie, got married! What a joy it was to witness this beautiful day through my lens. It was a day full of love, laughter, family, and fun. What a great group of people- the bridal party, the families, guests-just everyone involved- were wonderful. The weather was bipolar that day... sudden bursts of heavy rain and then minutes later full sun. Thankfully, the sun was shining after the ceremony and we were able to find a spot (with quick shelter nearby) at Grand Vue Park to snap a few photos before heading to the beautiful reception. I am so lucky to get to do what I do and shooting photos for Tim and Carrie was such an honor. Here are a few of my favorites.... Carrie and Tim invited their high school friends outside for a group shot! Thank you to Tim, Carrie, and their families for being so great! I can't wait to deliver ALL of your photos to you- There are lots of surprises!
