A few months ago my wonderful client, Holly, asked if I would be interested in donating to the Ohio County FRN (Family Resource Network) Mother/Son Dance. Holly is an outstanding member of her community, so of course I said yes and donated a mother/son mini session. A little while later I received a phone call from the winner, Ingrid. She said that her son so graciously decided to give his sister the shoot. Fate has a funny way of introducing you to people. Shooting with these two ladies was truly so much fun! If you know me, you know I love genuine, candid shots that show emotion and there are TONS of those from this shoot. The love between these two is just so amazing and natural. Alexa just so happened to be last year's UPP United States Little Miss and just recently won UPP International Elite Little Miss. Like mother, like daughter because Ingrid was also a pageant winner! We had such a great time that our next shoot is already in the works! Here are a few of my favorites..... Thank you to Holly for including me in the Ohio County FRN donors and to Ingrid and Alexa for being such great models!
Lots of Love, Kristin

I had the honor of shooting baby Chase's first photo shoot, although, you can't see his sweet face just yet. Amber is one of my great friends and I was so happy when she mentioned that she's like to have maternity photos taken. When Amber showed up to Mandy & Corey's house (gorgeous location) in her flowered dress, I couldn't get over how beautiful she looked. My favorite prop that she brought was the little sign that says "For This Child I Prayed." It is my favorite because I know it is true. Jeff was a great sport, although we almost lost him when Amber asked him to hold a letter with glitter on it. (mental note: send Jeff a glitter bomb for his birthday). Sophie LOVES babies and is going to be THE BEST big sister, I can tell she is so excited. Mandy (Amber's sister) was expecting at the time (little Cash was born July 5th), so we definitely wanted to take some sister maternity shots! It was an all around fun and beautiful shoot- and the rain missed us! Here are a few of my favorites... We are all anxiously awaiting baby Chase's arrival! Thank you to Amber, Jeff, and Sophie for being great clients!
Lots of Love, Kristin The first time I met Morgan and her parents was at my Christmas Mini Sessions in December. She was just a tiny lil baby at that time. When Hilary contacted me to do photos I was excited that miss Morgan can sit up on her own now and I knew it would be a fun shoot. We scheduled the shoot and met at Oglebay. Right before we got out of our cars it started pouring down the rain. Instead of having to use a blanket in every photo, we decided to reschedule. Boy am I glad we did! Morgan was a perfect model - no crying, all smiles, and even an outfit change! Hilary and I had so much fun watching her smile. I am so lucky to get to do what I do. I know everyone says this, but I REALLY DO have the best clients in the world. Thank you Henrys for choosing me again- I hope to take photos of your family for years to come! And thank you, sweet Morgan, for a great photo shoot! Here are a few of my favorites... Lots of love,
Kristin This maternity session has been one of my favorite sessions so far this year because it is so special and unique. God blessed each of these ladies with a new addition to their families this year, and He had such sweet timing. Katie, Lori, and Hilary are sisters with the cutest baby bumps! I have known these women since we were kids, so that is the icing on the super special cake. There was one point during our shoot that I started tearing up because the timing is so special and rare - I said "is it weird that I'm emotional about this?" It was so much fun watching the three of them interact with each other. I love the shots of them reading the "What to Expect When You're Expecting" book together; Lori and Katie know what to expect, as these babies will make number 3 for both. This will be Hilary's first! They were actually reading the book so their facial expressions and giggles are genuine. I shot Hilary's wedding and I shoot family photos for Katie and Lori - so I am beyond excited to watch their families grow. All three of them were rock stars during their shoot; even with one wet booty from the grass, popcorn that "smelled funny," and cicadas. Here are a few of my favorites... And sometimes the dog gets out of the house! I am so excited for you ladies!
