Baby Arlow's Lifestyle Shoot

My friends had a baby! She is cute, squishy, happy, smells like heaven, and her name is Arlow. Robert and Amanda contacted me about taking "newborn" photos of baby Arlow just as my photography season began for the year. I warned them that my version of a newborn shoot is much different than something you may see on Pinterest (although sometimes I get adventurous and out of my comfort zone). God bless the newborn studio portrait photographers of the world; your job is something I am not cut out for. When I agree to take photos of newborns it is in natural light, natural positions, and natural settings. Robert and Amanda have been friends of mine for years and it is so awesome to see a perfect little human with both of their qualities. Since they were in the process of moving back home from Morgantown (woohoo!), we agreed that it would be easiest to shoot these photos at my house. Here are a few of my favorites.....
